Hello everyone! First, apologies on not responding to comments individually as I liked to do in the past. Now I literally blog while I have time during the work day, so I post and vanish till the next time I want to post. But I read every comment, and I’m deeply grateful for your love and support. Over the weekend, I read a scripture that moved me immensely. I was lying on my bed talking to God, telling Him that I feel a little thirsty in my spirit. Like, I was longing to spend time with Him, but I had been so tired, and making unwise choices (like watching late night movies haha) so I hadn’t been able to wake up and spend time with Him in the morning, as I love to. And then, somehow, I came across Isaiah 44: 1-4 “But now listen, Jacob, my servant, Israel, whom I have chosen. 2 This is what the Lord says— he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: …
Especially on this Easter Monday, when all I’m thinking about is the sacrifice of the cross. Jesus died for me today. His mercy over me is new every single morning. I don’t have to work on yesterday’s anointing, I don’t have to work with yesterday’s miracles. There are new miracles to be seen, new frontiers to conquer. There is something fresh and new and exciting every single day in the walk with the Lord.
Just a very personal post from me.
Go up to Jerusalem with Jesus. What’s your Jerusalem? Where is your gaze? Follow Jesus. No matter the cost and no matter the condition. Fix your eyes on Him. It is simultaneously the most powerful and most docile action for any believer.
Christ-consciousness will take the place of self-consciousness. Wherever Jesus comes He establishes rest, the rest of the perfection of activity that is never conscious of itself.
My good, good friend wrote a piece for the blog (after years of begging) and I’m ecstatic to share. She writes about the ways she’s been hearing from God and asks about how we too, have been hearing from God.
When we feel like the Lord has forgotten all about us, it’s time to refocus on Him and hold fast. The night is darkest before the dawn. Don’t give up, don’t get weary in doing good. Jehovah knows and He sees everything you’re going through!
I’m counting my blessings and naming them one by one!
What can I say? The Lord has done for me, exceedingly, abundantly above all that I have ever asked or imagined! If not for His grace and mercy, I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I’m so excited for my future because I know Jesus has got me!
Have you read the passage in the bible that talks about God being the sun and the light for His children in the new Jerusalem? The new Jerusalem is heaven, but what’s equally exciting is that we don’t even have to wait until that time to experience His touch in our lives. Today is the day, now is the time!
